LOGIC Certification

HSA - Pulse

The Logic Certification ACS Assessment tool was launched in the Spring of 2006 and consists of three major parts.

The first part of the system is the online administration programme. This is used by Logic Certifications Head Office and deals with the creation and administration of test centres and assessments.

An assessment consists of several papers which are in turn made up of a number of questions. Logic has the ability to create, edit and archive; questions, papers, assessments and images. A question can be assigned to many papers and a paper can be assigned to many assessments given the system a great deal of flexibility.

The second part of the system is the test centre administration programme. This is run offline in a test centre. Here the test centre assessors schedule candidates to undertake the assessments that have been created by Logic head office. The programme has an in-depth reporting facility to print out the candidates results.

The third and final part of the system is the test centre assessment programme. Once a candidate has been scheduled they can undertake the assessment papers. The candidate is presented with a number of questions with each of their answers being recorded. Upon completion the answers given are marked and a result is processed. Depending on the result it is possible for the candidate to retake the paper up to a certain number of attempts. Their results are stored and a result sheet is printed out.
